Do you photograph family groups?

Absolutely! In our minds there are two things you want from your wedding photography – firstly portraits of yourselves, family and friends in an attractive and flattering manner and secondly to tell the story of your day. You decide on the balance of the two.

Are you qualified?

Steve is a qualified member of the SWWP (Society for Wedding and Portrait Photographers).

Who will take my photographs?

Steve personally does all the photography.

What if it rains?

Steve attends all weddings with portable lighting equipment and will discuss with you alternative plans should it rain. But don’t worry you will still get a fabulous record of your day.

When should I book?

For a summer Saturday wedding you should book 12-18 months in advance to be safe. For mid-week or winter weddings, 8 months is normally adequate.

How long do you spend on the formal photography?

The average is 15 minutes on the family portraits and the same for the bride and groom. But this is all down to the couple’s preference.

Why can I get it cheaper locally?

Always look at 3 photographer’s work and ask to see complete weddings they have personally taken. Don’t shop on price alone but as a guide look to spend 10% - 15% of your wedding budget on your photography depending on how important these memories are to you. With Steve’s vast bank of experience you are guaranteed a quality product.

What happens after the wedding?

Photographs can be viewed in our proof magazine or online. A rough album will be prepared by Lynn to make sure you are 100% happy with its content and layout.

My mum wondered if you can take her wrinkles away?

Sure, wrinkles, acne, bingo wings and tummy tucks are all possible by our very own plastic surgeon, Lynn. This is all part of the service.

What are Photoshop images?

All photos are individually inspected, tones, corrected, cropped and re-touched as necessary.

What if you are ill or injured on the day?

We belong to a group of photographers called Just8 which collectively offers a network of help and support.

How can we reduce the cost?

We do various discounts and guests can buy vouchers towards the cost of your album.

What camera equipment do you use?

State of the art Canon camera 5D Mk2 21Mpixals, fast, super sharp prime lenses and a boot load of flash gear should the weather be unfavourable.
